Warm, fellowship-trained psychiatric care for children, teens, and families across Marin County, Kentfield, Oakland, and the greater Bay Area.

Care that meets children and families where they are
Children and adolescents communicate distress in many different ways — sometimes through anxiety, sometimes through behavior, sometimes through silence. Dr. Asher's approach is to understand each young person in the full context of their development, temperament, family, and school environment.
Care often integrates psychotherapy with family involvement, and may include thoughtful medication management when clinically appropriate. Plans are individualized and reviewed collaboratively.
